Why Madisons
Madisons has been building since 2009 and now fields a team of 50+ including subcontractors, across private residential projects from £25,000 to £3.6 million and volume fitout for national housebuilders. The work is the draw: show home standard finishes, sites run properly under SMSTS qualified management, SMAS accredited health and safety, and a first aid trained team. If you have ever wanted to point at a finished room and say you did that, this is that kind of firm.
Who we look for
The people we hire first are the ones who can do more than one thing well. Fitout and refurbishment programmes reward operatives with experience across several trades: the ones who can hang a door in the morning, make good around it after lunch and leave the room ready for the decorator.
- Multi-trade operatives with experience across two or more trades, for fitout and refurbishment programmes: our first priority
- Carpenters and joiners who work to hairline tolerances
- Decorators, including sprayers, who understand a show home finish
- Kitchen and bathroom fitters
- Site managers and working supervisors with SMSTS or equivalent
- Reliable subcontract gangs for volume housebuilder fitout
