Our answer is three decades of supplier relationships, from soft furnishings to light fittings, giving you direct access to products and pricing you will not find on the high street. You choose from a curated shortlist; we handle the ordering, the lead times and the deliveries, and everything arrives as one scheme.

Craig has spent 33 years delivering that discipline for the country’s leading developers, including the only residential project on The Strand, and Madisons still fits out show homes for national housebuilders today. The same judgement about light, flow, finish and detail is what we bring to a private house in Essex. This is where Madisons began, and it is still the standard everything else is measured against.

Do you supply the furnishings as well?
Yes. Sourcing is half the service: soft furnishings, lighting, flooring and furniture supplied through our trade relationships, delivered and installed as one scheme. You get access to suppliers the high street does not offer, at prices that usually surprise people.
Can you do just one room?
Happily. Craig calls it a refresh with an edge: a single room, a luxury W/C, a hallway that sets the tone for the whole house. The minimum project value of £25,000 applies to full design and finish schemes, so tell us what you have in mind and we will be straight with you about whether it fits.
How does interior design fit alongside building work?
On our projects the two are one job. When Madisons handles the build, the interior scheme is designed with the architecture from day one, so the finishes are planned into the construction rather than applied at the end. That is the core of our design and build service.
Will Craig personally be involved?

How long does an interior project take?
As a guide: a single room or W/C fit out runs 2 to 4 weeks, kitchens and bathrooms 4 to 8 weeks, and whole house interior schemes 8 to 16 weeks depending on scope and furnishing lead times. Lead times on furnishings are the variable most people underestimate, which is why we order early and manage the deliveries for you.
