Established 2009
Madisons was established in 2009 and has spent the years since doing one thing with increasing scale: building and finishing to the standard of a show home. In 2015 the business stepped up into commercial work, fitting out homes for the country’s national housebuilders. In 2018 and 2019 it broadened from interiors into full construction, and it kept working straight through lockdown.
The numbers tell the shape of it: more than £20 million of projects delivered since 2009, more than £8 million since 2022, and 1,000 to 1,200 homes a year currently fitted out for national housebuilders, alongside private residential projects from £25,000 to £3.6 million.

Away from site, Madisons sponsors the South Woodham Ferrers Under 11s football team.
In May 2025 Craig took the stage at Grand Designs Live. On 3 May, on the Build and Renovation Theatre at ExCeL London, he co-presented “Dream builds and DIY disasters: what your architect and builder really want you to know” with architectural designer Andrew Sheeley of RocHaus, one of our architect partners: both sides of a build, from planning permission to completion.
